Bennett, 17, is all about football. He not only plays on defense, but on
offense as well. As a football player,
you need to have good knowledge of the different plays that the team runs. Bennett, however, has learned all offensive
and defensive plays that the Hidden Valley football team runs and knows. He plays as a corner and as a running back. When asked what his greatest moment was,
Bennett responded, “Going into playoffs in my freshman year and beating Lord
Botetourt 21-14.”
As a football player on game day,
players need to stay focused on the game.
When asked what his most nervous moment was, Bennett responded, “Today,
because we play against PH.” On Fridays, which are game days, Bennett remains
focused and watches film from previous games of his opponent. Usually, players will focus on either the
offensive or defensive side to their opponent, but Bennett has to watch film on
both and be mentally prepared for each game.

Bennett has a twin brother and sister and one older brother on his dad’s side
of the family, and one little sister on his mom’s side of the family. Bennett is from Seattle, Washington and went
to G.W. Carver for elementary school. Bennett is a pretty free spirited guy as
well. When asked what his biggest fear
was, he responded, “Someday I would like to jump out of a plane and go
skydiving.” He hopes for more
challenges throughout life and football.
